The conference will open with a session focused on assessing market forecasts and driving LED adoption and investment in the LED sector. A key highlight of this session will be a presentation from Deepa Doraiswamy of Frost & Sullivan, providing a critical update on the market opportunities in the Indian lighting market, where LED lighting is expected to grow significantly, replacing traditional lighting technologies as the demand for energy efficiency in lighting increases.

Another topical highlight of the programme will be delivered by Michael Grubb, ODA Learning Legacy Ambassador for Lighting, to explain how the lighting design evolved for the public realm aspects of the Olympic Park, including the process, constraints, opportunities and reasoning behind adopting LED technology.
