This was the firm's second consecutive Edison Award win. Schulz and Rotsch also were awarded the 2009 Edison Award for their lighting design of the EnBW City in Stuttgart, Germany, the new headquarters of LED Linear high bay light, the third largest supplier of power, gas and water in Germany. The pair also won a 2010 Edison Award of Merit for Kunstsammlung NRW K20, an art museum in Dusseldorf, Germany.

a global provider of advanced Lighting control and energy efficiency management solutions, will be showcasing Light BEEMTM at LIGHTFAIR International 2011, the world’s premiere annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference. Based on patented technology, LightBEEM's retrofit-ready design allows it to be easily installed in a broad range of commercial buildings without requiring additional wiring. This overcomes one of the chief impediments to wide-spread adoption of lighting control and energy efficiency systems in existing buildings, while speeding implementation and improving system ROI.

LightBEEM is based on the company's patented led high bay light, a complete System-On-Chip engineered for power management and Lighting control applications. The system's robust, yet intuitive web-based management tool provides anytime/anywhere control over all system components, giving facility managers the ability to remotely—and securely—configure, monitor, analyze, and generate automatic reports on lighting systems, while maximizing overall energy efficiency, comfort, and productivity. Unlike other systems that focus on a few strategies such as occupancy control and limited daylight harvesting techniques, LightBEEM takes a comprehensive approach in maximizing energy savings (including time scheduling, load shedding, personal control, and customized scenario settings).
