The Toshiba LED high bay light fixtures are durable with heavy-duty cast aluminum housing, corrosion-resistant hardware, and IP65 construction for wet locations. The LED high bays are available in wattages from 86W to 171W and rated for a life of 100,000 hours. Additional energy savings and LED life can be achieved with occupancy sensors and dimming. A variety of mounting options are available for specific applications, including bracket mount, pendant mount, and chain/cable mount.


This new study focused on LED light’s effects on bee activity. When the LED lighting was turned on, bees in the hive immediately became active despite the lack of natural light. When using HPS, the bees stayed in the hive until there was some natural light—four hours after the artificial light had been turned on. Furthermore, the HPS lights produce heat, which can kill bees when they accidentally run into the fixtures. Researchers have repeatedly demonstrated the advantages of led streetlight market segment.
